Today, we're happy to share with you our conversation with the lifestyle brand TELLING STORIES from Ventura, California.
We wanted to get to know a little bit more about who they are, what inspired the brands launch, and where they plan to take things in the near future. Here's how it went:

Thanks for taking the time to chat with us guys! We're excited to have you as our next feature and learn more about you as a lifestyle brand. Let's start this off with you sharing exactly what it was that initially drew you to your craft, and how has your journey unfolded since then?
Telling Stories: Everyone who cares and everyone who listens! Creators. Innovators. Influencers. Professionals. Athletes. And artists alike. We are building content through community and culture, emphasizing the importance of relationships. For the Homies. We’re helping create legacy, history, timeline, and stories through the interaction of others.

Can you share some insights into your creative process? Where do you find inspiration, and how do you translate that into your work?
Telling StoriesReach lifestyle through product. The design makes it special. Events are where it all comes to life. Tv is the mascot. Take it everywhere. It’s our conversation starter. Graffiti is the color pallet and music keeps it all together. Relax. Vibe. Think. Work. This mindset helps keep balance both internally and externally. We are building a relatable brand, offering engagement and inclusivity. The goal is to impact the way we view and identify ourselves by more than what we wear. We use ideas and opinion to establish a brand that reflects our supportive community. Your stories are statements meant to be heard and the art behind our graphics provides a form of representation.

What projects are you currently working on, and what excites you the most about them?
Telling StoriesJuly has been a month of planning. With August around the corner, we are preparing for a busy month with music. We also have an exciting announcement for September. An event we’ve attended in the past and have always wanted to help grow. Providing a platform for our homies to express themselves creatively is what we want to do. This is satisfaction. This is also encouraging. We find more reason to move forward.

Looking back on your career so far, what would you consider to be your proudest achievement or most memorable moment?
Telling StoriesFinding purpose and success in the business. Proud to own a California based and influenced brand, whose social responsibility is to support the arts and collaborate with homies. Whether it be a tangible items or shared experience, Telling Stories has become the paint for life’s canvas.

How do you navigate challenges and setbacks in your field, and what advice would you give to aspiring creatives facing similar obstacles?
Telling StoriesNever be boring. Don’t let yourself be labeled. Refusing to be labeled allows you to play by your own rules. Continue to be change-makers and visionaries. Be daring, charismatic, spirited, imaginative and creative.

In an industry constantly evolving, how do you stay innovative and relevant while maintaining your unique voice/style?
Telling StoriesWe’re not here to follow trends or seek popularity. We aim to inspire a flow of art, community, culture, and meaningful communication. Keep an open mind. Show integrity. Be approachable for those who want to belong. Be creative, diverse, empowering, and authentic. STAY PASSIONATE.

Can you talk about any collaborations or partnerships that have been particularly meaningful or impactful for you?
Telling StoriesEvery relationship has been important. Every event has been fulfilling. Being able to brainstorm and execute a plan with the community are cherished moments. This is definitely the time to shoutout everyone for being part of the journey and allowing us to showcase the connection with one another!

What do you hope audiences or consumers take away from your work, and what impact do you aspire to make in your industry?
Telling StoriesThe way we use language is changing. The brand allows you to find and use your own voice to differentiate yourself from everyone else. No stereotypes. Express emotions. It’s okay to create your own traditions, values and personal ideologies. Creation is the work of the divine. Be a creator. Keep a creative spirit. Remember you are a brand, even if it is just for yourself.

Lastly, what message or piece of wisdom would you like to share with your fans, or anyone inspired by your journey?
Telling StoriesNever stop auditioning. Less talking, more doing. Dream BIG, develop discipline, and take advantage of what’s in front of you.
